So we have family who bought a vacation home on the shore of Limestone lake. Was reading the TPWD information on it & wondering if anyone here can report as to how good or bad the sandbass fishing is there?

I've had good luck with whites and crappie there. That's a good little lake.

I went there last year (July) for whites and had poor results.

A fair sandbass fishery. I have a friend with a lake house that we visit every spring. We catch whites off his dock at night in 5 ft of water, and in 8 ft deep water up near the dam.
