What a wonderful turn of events. Lessons learned?
Your possessions pale in importance to your character.
Good people tend to congregate, they know the virtues of selfless service to others and ultimately receive blessings and reward for their acts. Seeing the big grin on the boys face is that reward. thumb

Imagine the shallow, bitter day of the thief. Within the past year or so I've been robbed twice. I've had over 2 thousand dollars worth of tackle stolen and just the other day a tool box full of craftsman wrenches and sockets etc as well as other odds and ends. These people spend their entire day traveling about looking for opportunity. They think nothing of taking tools that another person uses to make a living and feed his family, and they'll take another man's fishing tackle. In my case it was my best stuff, including rods and reels I had owned for 15-20 years in some cases. Equipment I worked hard for and took good care of. I'm sure they traded all that for a rock or two of crack........pitiful. But hey, I went fishing the next day with some of my grade B stuff and never missed a beat.Lesson learned here is to be mindful of these creeps. All they need is a minute and they're gone. What a shame, I still want to leave doors unlocked and windows down. But you just can't do that anymore.
