Hello everyone! I am Mona a girl from Lebanon. I came here a couple of years ago to fall in love with a man crazy about fishing. Back home fishing is for very poor people to make a living. So my impression was very low of the sport. But my man kept on telling me ill love it. I watched him every week pack up and head out for hours of fishing. Then come back and tell me all about it. I never felt interested. Not until I was home bored and wanted to do something new.
My first fishing trip. My husband ( the same crazy about fishing guy) wakes me up at 4 am. Handles the supplies and snacks. We drove out to Decatur. Just ask the sun was rising we parked. Set our stuff out. My husband starts to teach me how to handle the rod. Sets the bait and throws it in. Within seconds he catches a fish and I am blown away. I couldn't believe it. I wanted to get in the tube and do it myself. I knew there is a skill to it listening to him explain it in all fishing technical words. I kept on throwing that lure in and noticing many nibbling. That was exhilarating. Then out of nowhere I feel tugging on my bait and I loose my mind from excitement. I couldn't stop shouting that I caught something. I was over the moon. I am an animal lover myself. But this [censored] is awesome. Later I caught a cat fish. That one really gave me a true experience tugging and yanking at my rod. The sun rising and just floating away in water was an awesome peaceful feeling. Then out of nowhere I catch a third little bass. Wrapping up my fist day of fishing people I found my self a new love!

Awesome. Fishing for Bass, Perch, just about any fish that swims is poetic and magic. It is like casting for shadows that suddenly become material. There is nothing like the feel of a trout on the line, the exhilaration of a goggle eye, bronze back, or hawg exploding out of the deep to inhale a top water lure. Congratulations for discovering the joy of the best sport in the world. And if you are wise, you will keep your new found joy grounded in a love for all of nature. Before long, if you are attentive, you will see all kinds of amazing birds, insects, snakes, and other beautiful creatures sharing the water and the hunt with you for fish.
