Me, my son, a buddy and his son, fished for a week in Port O'Connor last week. We had a great trip. We caught lots, and lots of nice sharks, lots and lots of bull reds, and some very large stingrays. We kept a couple 4ft sharks, and we kept the stingrays. The wings on the stingrays have some of the best tasting fish meat you will ever eat. We love eating them. We killed and dehorned the biggest stingray before bringing him aboard, or he would have destroyed the inside of the boat. He was a handful. Enjoy the pics.  Large kingfish my son caught.  We had several double hook ups on large sharks.  One we decided to keep.  One of the many bull reds.  Another big stingray.

Thanks everyone. My son, Matt, has really taken an interest in fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He has claimed my Abu Garcia 6600 C4 with an Inshore Ugly Stick as his. He says thats his new spec and reds rod. He can cast it a fair distance. But still has lots that Dad can teach him.
I also have two older kids, twins. They too enjoy the outdoors. Sometimes here lately when we go fishing it's them fishing with me baiting hooks and pulling fish off, and taking pics. I wouldn't have it any other way. I love seeing the smiles on their faces when some unknown critter is tugging hard on their string. And then the accomplishment after they whooped a big fish is just priceless.
If ya got kids, take them fishing!!!
