I'm taking three elderly folks with mobility issues fishing in the next couple of weeks. They love to fish but have trouble when it comes to bouncing around or in and out of a boat. So there will be 4 of us. Looking for a guide on either or both lakes that A.)knows what he is doing fishing wise and B.)has enough boat to fish 4, and C.)can handle those "old-folk" issues. We'll be looking for a full day of fishing. Would greatly appreciate any thoughts or recommendations and thanks in advance.

In this life there is fly fishing and tying...and then there is all that other stuff in between that doesn't matter.

This guide is a friend of mine, and he will go out of his way to make your trip a success.

Just got back from Calaveras and I saw Alex there at the fish cleaning table with his clients and they had a couple of limits of nice reds.
Me and my fishing partner had a pretty good morning also and ended up catching 32 channel cats from 2 to 5 1/2# on shad.

Affordable guide service. You can't beat Alex. He always comes to the cleaning station with more fish than any other guide. He is definitely a pro, and a great guy to boot. Y'all will be comfortable while fishing, and plenty busy reeling in fish. You probably don't need to book a full day. Hire him for 2 half days, because it won't take him all day to get everybody's limit.

Alamo Charters, Harry is awesome and his price is very affordable. Alex is also a quality guide. I have dealt with Manny and actually felt he was very rude over the phone and I have also heard that from a lot of people as well. He will most likely want to sue me for saying that since he likes to take people to court!!!!

Thumbs up to Manny who fished two people out of Cally when there tiny boat thing capsized.

Fi

I'm a humble fisherman in the service of our Lord.
Started fishin at 5 years old and can't stop.
I've owned a boat every day from age 16.
I fish for every type of fish in every different way.
