Didn't get to the lake at the break of dawn as usual but it didn't hurt us any. We started the day fishing timber south of the twin bridges and hit brushpiles all the way to the dam. Ended the day fishing pylons. We must have boated over a hundred fish but threw back all 10-10 1/2 inchers except for the last fish of the day that went just under 10 1/2. Probably could have held out for one bigger, but i was ready to get home. I used one jig all day long but my wife changed jigs about every 15 minutes. The key depth was 15'. Now we were catching in as low as 9' but all we could get were the 10" fish at that depth. we tried 20'-25' but nothing was to be found at that depth.

I have to give BoneHead Tackle a plug here cause that Braided line of his made the subtle taps very noticeable today. Josh I love that line!!

And to JigMaster who couldn't make it out today, brother I hope that concert is a good one, cause ya missed one good day to Get'er Done on the lake! banana

What color line and size do you use? What type of reel do you use with that line. Great catching today. Thanks, Oakenhawk.

Hey man I really appreciate it we sell a lot of it. Your wife's pink line is leaving my factory headed this way we had to work on the colorant. Also we added three more colors to the warehouse neon green, ice blue and black. Neon green Is super bright will be a great night time color. Looks like you all had a excellent day and landed some good fish. Josh

It has only come up a couple inches from what I could tell. Last week JigMaster and I noticed a stump popping out of the water a few inches that we had never noticed before. Today I looked for it as I came around the point but didn't see it. I know it's there, but not visible at this time.

It's not a big lake at all. There's plenty of timber south of Twin Bridge (highway 6)and the lake is loaded with brushpiles.
The storm that rolled in today helped get the fish active. It usually isn't this good this time of year. It's good, but not this good. grin
