Anyone know of any good spots that can be accessed from the bank? Me and a buddy are looking for a change in scenery from the normal spots we usually fish on Lewisville Lake. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know there are some bike trails accessible from the state park. From there if you go north east on those trails it will bring you out on the point next to the entrance to sand branch. I have caught some nice fish off that point from the boat. Shouldn't be much different from the bank.

Some good bank fishing just north of fm rd 3002 bridge over west arm. A lot of deep water in casting distance from bank. I guess u just park on side of rd. not sure but I see a lot of folks fishing their when I'm in my boat. A lot of good fish have came from the cove u will see I'm talking about. Also u can hit around pound creek pretty well. Good luck.

Me and a buddy showed up there this morning around 5:45 and caught 3 LMB within the first 10 minutes of being there. No size, but it's fun catching them on top water.
