Hey guys. Had a quick little question for you. One of the older reels that i own, has been giving me problems. The tension knob is not working as well as it used to. It seems as if i have to turn the knob REAL high in order for the reel the cast well. I cant adjust my baits anymore. I have to crank it all the way to feel a very significant amount of tension.. On other reels, you can give adjust the tension to fit perfectly to the bait you have on. But i cant here. i turn and turn and turn bit the only time i actually feel any tension if when it cranked all the way. Im not sure if something is broke inside and needs to be replaced. I don't know how to explain this exactly so sorry if i didn't give enough info. Reply of you need anything. Thank you in advance.

There should be a shim inside the knob that puts pressure on the spool shaft when you tighten it.Maybe wore out.Try taking it out and reversing it.You will probably see a little bump in the center where it contacts the shaft.
