I was part of the crowd that figured swimbaits were only for clear water, Cali etc and etc. Also figured it would be 1-3 bites per day type bait. About a year or so ago I started using the Skinny Dipper type a lot and they catch fish everywhere. Then another BBC member who I swear is evil and made me a few 3-5" line thru type swimbaits to experiment with. I realized they catch a ton of fish and plenty of good sized keepers. Then I started buying baits like the 3:16 Rising Son and also baits that Oak Ridge Marina had in the store had from ProSwimbaits .com and now its a full fledged addiction. There is something to that 3-7" line thru type that is just money. Stained water, clear water, shallow water, deep water and water with tons of cover makes no difference they will eat them. That thump-thump-thump you get just before the line loads up is almost as good as a jig bite. I urge anyone out there on the fence to look into giving these type a try. I will be starting on the Huddlestons next once i get better with these.
The mailman brought me a box of goodies today from Pro Swimbaits just to show you how crazy its gotten. I love the size of them as well as the detail. They just get it right plus I like the fact they do not roll or foul no matter how fast you want to real it. They threw in 2 hand painted flutter spoons that are awesome. The one with the jighead is a Pro Minnow and is a hollow body type. The detail of the bluegill pattern is something to see. They use a lot of the glimmer type additives to give it a more realistic look. The others are 5' and &" Pro Wakes and they are almost too pretty to throw. I love opening boxes like this....

Very nice I will be placing an order for Amistad next month.

Please give me a list?

Let me know what hook set up to use?

Are the line through baites weighted?
