Gunna be wade fishing the flats in Galveston and Christmas bay. Want to pick up a few corky fatboys for specks and reds. What colors do you guys prefer?

I've had some success w/Corkies and my vote is any color in the world so long as it's white or pink. CF?

I've had some success w/Corkies and my vote is any color in the world so long as it's white or pink. CF? Was thinking about getting pink. Sounds like that's what I'll end up getting.

I would not fish a corky this time of year if I were you. Fish it in the winter when the trout's metabolism is down and they don't want to move much to feed. Throw it out and let it sit for a few seconds and let it hit the bottom, give it a real slow twitch or two and let it fall back to the bottom. Repeat this until a big trout inhales it. Hope this helps.
