How much rain are they getting and what had it done to the river? Thinking about a suicide run at about 1:30 in the morning.

Yea I left the house at 1:30 this morning. It had stormed pretty good thru the night an the water was off colored. It slowed the bite a little from two weeks ago when I was there caught around 20 but nothing big. Lost a lot of fish today they were taking really weird. From the people I talked to dries had been doing very well te day before but no real risers to speak of today. They didn't generate and I did manage to go about a mile into zone two did ok. Ran into a guy that caught several really nice fish down there on dries prior in the week. I saw I white river size fish come out briefly from a cut bank in the evening hole. It was very light in color and looked to be a brown quickly lost sight of it. Even though they were mostly small it was a fun day.

It was the first trout trip with the new 3wt preformed great. I also hit zone three at the dam for a few min on the way out looking for sandies or bass couldn't keep the gills off anything so headed out.

The stocking schedule is changed!!!

Lower Mountain Fork River is stocked every THIRD Thursday throughout the year! The next stocking should be....

November 7, 28 (probably 27th since that is Thanksgiving)

Have they changed the stocking at LMF. I thought they stocked every two weeks.
