We've heard so much about the crappie fishing being great on Cedar Creek Reservoir and Richland Chambers Reservoir that we are looking for information on finding a guide to take us 2-3 half day trips for exclusively crappie.

I own a wheelchair accessible pontoon boat and can borrow a trailer for it but can't pull it 200 miles to those lakes.

If you know of anyone that has accessible boats please let us know. You can even e-mail me at joey@customcrappiejigs.com

I'm wanting this so much I would almost pay someone to tow my boat up there and hire a guide to take us on our boat.

Any suggestions welcome.

My wife and I both love crappie fishing so much we want to spend our vacation catching some crappie somewhere.

Maybe you know another good crappie lake that has a guide with a wheelchair accessible boat we would be interested in also.

Thanks everyone for your help.

I can't wait to try some of my jigs on other lakes besides Lake Conroe where the crappie fishing has gone to pot frown

Check with bigcrappie.com and I'm betting Chuck can help you out. He has two center console Skeeters and a center console Bluewave that I think you could fit your wheelchair into. Chuck is the crappie guru of Cedar Creek Lake and a great guy to boot as are the other guides that work for him.
If you need accomodations while here, he can probably recommend a place. I live on the lake too and there is a house across the cove from me with a sign that says you can rent it by the day, week or month. I can get the number for you if that is of interest. It's waterfront and has a boatdock. Might be a little pricy, but, maybe worth looking into.
Good luck and let me know if there is anything else I can do to make this a great trip!

BigCrappie.com was my first choice and contact however they don't have an accessible boat.

I am in an electric wheelchair that needs to be able to be driven on a boat.

Here is my boat to give a better idea of how I access a boat.

Can you send me any pictures of the house for rent with pictures of the pier/dock? If I can find someone with a pontoon boat to guide from I may be interested. I am looking for 3 days fishing.

You might want to try Culverhouse Guide Service. The guy fishes lake Waco, Belton and Stillhouse which are Crappie Factories. The guide's dad is handicap and he takes his dad quite a bit. I have a good friend of mine who recently retired, he went out with him back last summer and said they limited out in two hours for three people.
