What do you do when you cure and they look shriveled and pitted when done?

I'm cooking chartreuse/yellow 25 minutes at 350 degrees and I have an internal gauge which shows the internal temp is staying right.

Could be a couple things, maybe there's some kind of contamination on the head's like oil or greasy fingerprint's, or maybe you got some bad powder. It might've gotten damp or something. I'm guessing here.

Describe how you are applying the powder coat.

I bought the jigs from Robert at Crazy Angler and took them right out of the bag and heated them with a heat gun and dipped them in the fluid bed. They came out smooth and pretty. After baking they looked pitted. I didn't realize I needed to clean the jigs before powder coating.

If Robert is using powder on the molds to get good pours, then you can just use a rag and wipe it off and they will paint fine, ask him and see if he is then that will be the problem. Im guessing the heads were from his spincaster.

Try cooking them at 250 degrees for 15 minutes. Mine come out fine at that temp.
