Just a little FYI for anyone interested in lights for night fishing.

I have several of the Green lights including the following...
-The Aurora which is very well made and very bright for jyst 3 LEDs.
-The Original Fisherrmans Green Light a tube kind that is not even made any longer, but really bright.
-The Kind Bob Spare (Was member here and really nice guy) his is nice, but not as bright as either of the above ones.
-Now I just ordered one that is kind of blowing my mind and I have not even lit it up yet. It's made at least as well as the Aurora in my opinion, but is 4' long and has 960 LEDs. Oh my I bet this thing is by far the brightest one of all as long as the LEDs are like I think. This thing is made really well as they use a solid piece of Aluminum stock and cut grooves in the bar where they slide in circuit boards full of LEDs.

I use to either take my tube one since it's really bright or I take 2 Aurora lights and the one from Bob. I felt like the one from Bob just was not as bright as I wanted and could tell the difference in how many shad showed up and the winner always was the Tube one until now, but it still will need to prove it soon.

I didn't see any reason to take time to get a picture of the other 2 now, but I will later and I will take the new one out this weekend weather permitting.

Here is the baitfish from last time out with the old Tube Type and the picture I had to make sure the boat edge blocked the light because it's too bright.


This is a close up of the new light and you can see there are double rows of LED's in each groove that go the entire 4'.

I was very impressed with the Monster light that crapicat brought along to Texoma last weekend. I still hope to be able to put the green LED strip lights down the side of my boat one day!

Very impressive indeed.Looks expensive but well built.

Awesome light skip, bet it puts out a bunch of light....Been a while since I have seen that many bait fish.

They show a picture of it with a car wheel on top of it and still lit up.

Crapicat we caught some crappie and some nice ones, but then we had the invasion of Yellow Bass and felt like I caught 100 of them, but really only probably about 30 of hem, but good many too small. Aslo had 3 very nice size a channel cats.
Ketchn that light was not a cheap one, it was like $170 and the new one was $198 on sale, lol!
I just hope to find some fish to sit on Saturday night when. Try this new one. He told me I would get the light showing a lot farther out using it vertical and not horizontal like the one in this pic. The cheapest ones I have are the one I got from Bob Spare, may God Bless is soul! Even the Aurora lights are something like $125 each.

I will try to find time for more pics today of the other lights, but I can tell you this new one is awesome made! Now if it lights up like I hear, it's going to be totally awesome!

Darn now someone showed me an even brighter LED light. So will be putting this one in the water Saturday Night as long as weather corporates. Wish I had seen this new one before I bought this one now. Boy that really gets my goat so my hope is this one will be brighter than my tube one and if not it will be a failure as far as I am concerned. Then I may have to send this one back and get this new one just found.

Here is a link to the new ones I found which are much smaller and don't have near the number of LEDs, but the LEDs are much more powerful!

I am actually thinking about either the one with 12 LEDs or the one with 24 LEDs. The one with 24 is considered one that would be for a commercial type fishing and he told me the 12 LED one would be about 3 times brighter than the one used in the picture I posted with the baitfish. So maybe the one with 12 is plenty. Also the kind of LED he uses are more expensive and are made in America!
