Got a Revo MGX yesterday from Cabelas. Unbelievably lightweight. Can't wait to get line on it.

They are lightweight, and sweet. I sold mine due to the fact that I could catch a 2lb bass with my drag turned up and it would drag line like a you know what. They are real nice though, you should enjoy it.

I kinda figured the MGX was more of a light setup but that's ridiculous, IMO.

Caught several big ones up to and over ten pounds on Fork this spring with this reel. Drag pulled a little but appropriate and no problem. It's a good reel.

My partner has one, it feels good but performance wasn't up to par compaired to our team lews.
He threw some orange seals in it and it's the bomb now.
I put orange seals in my new winch also and it much improved it.
IMO if you have a new abu you need to upgrade the bearings. About to change them out in my stx's,sx's and premiers too.
Lews kick a$$ right out of the box though.
We haven't seen any drag issues with the Mgx though. Think the biggest he has landed with the Mgx was a 6.45 in a tourney, the dinks are no problem.
