I'm working in Kentucky and one of the people has a farm pond. They have owned the land for 35 years and never put a fish in it and never fished it. He has a nice herd of charloais cattle in there, including a big bull that gives me the eye. Anyway they said I could fish it but they thought I was crazy. Dang thing is loaded with nice bass and crappie. My lucky find!

Always fun when you find ponds like these! Have proved a few landowner friends wrong by catching fish out of their "fishless" ponds.

Perfect example of "If you build it, they will come!" Don't care where you are, dig a big enough hole in the ground and keep it filled with water and the fish will find a way in. Congrats!

Fish find their way to ponds in a lot of ways, but one of the main ways is fish eggs, on the feet of water based birds, that move quickly from pond to pond.
