On days like today I just wish I could be on the lake but just wanting to stick around town I run out of ponds to go to. Is there any good ponds in Plano where I can find good sized bass?

forget the ponds go to Spring Creek in plano lots of nice size bass , catfish and sunfish . I usually hit it on my lunch break or right after work . I've given you one spot but you can catch them all up and down that creek if you know what to look for . Great practice on finding the different structures that hold bass .

I usually go for an hour or so after work , have been brining in some nice bass and a couple of catfish . It gives me a nice chance to try different techniques been doing some drop shotting in the clear areas , little bit of cranking in the wider deeper parts and in the more narrow areas I've been scoring with jig with crawfish trailers . Its been really fun and productive.
