Nice post. Makes me wish I wasn't 500 miles from Corpus, so I could try this out.

I was out there with him that day where he caught a dozen kings. That was my first rig trip. Tore them UP!
Prof. Salt is a stand-up guy. Very cool and very helpful. He also has a video for doing the haywire twist for king leaders, which is what I used and I had zero leader failures that trip. Check it out.

U bet cuda  Heard this weekend was hot down Corpus ways, temp wise I mean.  on DFWs forecast  We sure needed a good long soaking. AT, sharkbait, How's the catching been around corpus lately?  Kings still biting?

Yep. Taking my yak to fish out of but also taking my Bluewave for the owners tournament. I really want to catch a few kings in the yak but am not going to risk it if the surf is too big especially with a boat available.
