 Fishing for CARP in Shreveport LA

Next weekend I plan to head down to Shreveport to visit my grandparents. There is a creek that runs near their house called boggy bayou. It runs off of wallace lake and I plan to do some carp fishing for a few days .Just wanted to see if anyone has fished this bayou/creek or near by body of water for carp and what baits work well.

Your right, i bet there are some in there. From what i have been told this river i very deep/long and from what i have seen very wide and RED! Now that you mentioned that i might give it a shot while im down there. Plan to do some cat fishing on cross lake as well with gramps. Hes not really into carp fishing as most in Louisiana are not.

Ended up fishing a creek and an caspiana lake with no luck. Better luck next time I guess.
