What are some of the more durable plastic bodies you guys like ?
Thoughts "smooth" hook shanks vs. a lead barb for retaining the body ????

just curious

I don't fish plastic any more, but when I did, I would fish Slab Bandits, Lake Fork Live Baby Shad, or Bobby Garland.
Barbless will make the bait last longer, and you can put a drop of super glue on to help hold the bait.

i usually use barbed style jigs. they do tear up solid body plastics pretty quick it seems.
hadn't thought about gluing to barbless jigs.

Thump buddies are about as tuff as they get followed by slab bandits imo. Bobby garlands tear up easy

I don't fish many plastics either, but slab bandits are hard to beat. And I'll use a barbed hook.

Slab Bandit's #1 and Thump Buddies #2. Ball head, no barb hook & a dab of super glue.

Bandits..but not just for the tough body. Just like em a lot.. they'll get bit when others dont it seems.
I use a barbed jig, but I file it down a bit on softer bodies like a BG
