Critic... I fish Lavon and 50 crappie is rather unbelievable right now. I think that's what he is getting at. Sure would be nice to see a pic considering everyone else on Lavon can only manage a handful and the guides are all catching sandies due to no crappie bite. Pics would be epic under these circomstances.

47 keepers is epic off one BP
40 would be amazing
30 is incredible
20 keepers off one BP would be awesome
10 would be nice
WTG That is one helluva BP

There is a crappie tournament on Lavon in August. You would win.

Good Luck!

You want your BP to be the only thing in the area and they will move in. You can use cedar trees which last a long time, stick condos, PVC , branches from a willow tree and bam boo. Drop them in water depth 12-20 on drop off and ledges. I agree with keeping your BP fresh and it will stay good to you.

Glad the bunch of bps you put out a while back paid off John. I can vouch for 8 bps. that John worked his A off, and it paid dividend. Whether from 1 or 8, this guy can flat out smack them. I fished Lavon with John many yrs back, and he is one reckon angler when he is on so take it easy on the tension.... Please.... We have enough drama made from a mole into a mountain in the crappie section in the past and not too long ago...
Congrats Johnny!
