Lucky for me, my son's friend loves to fish so guess how I got my boy to fish with me. You got it! Fished with Dad, brother, his co-worker, my son and his best friend. We started the day by waiting out the storm.  Caught fish at a steady pace at our first spot. When things slowed down a little, we decided to join our friend who was catching fish not too far away. Unfortunately, the fish disappeared when we got there. But we had the pleasure of meeting BenP there though. A pleasure meeting you Ben! Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good. We could have gone back to where we were catching but decided to try a different spot. It paid of big time. Fish were stacked and guess who was also there knocking on our lures? Dos Hybrids. Landed 5 or 6 if you counted the one BenP landed. Let it be known that I did not land any of those hybrids but I had an EPIC day. Evan hooked and landed a hybrid all by himself! So I got Evan hooked and I got my boy to fish with me anytime I want! Yahoo!  Our fearless captain and my son, Matthew.

Great looking coffin pic. Today was a blast. We tore the sand bass up. I should have headed south with you guys instead of taking my chances at the White House.

Very nice meeting you and the Family today too! It was a great evening and I can say that Lewisville doesn't want us to quit on her yet lol. I struggle finding the humps at the pits but between you and Bassthumb I will eventually know them by heart!! thx again for the great locating skills and sharing the wealth!! It makes me smile to catch hybrids at home but even more smiles came form seeing those young guys have a blast!
I only fish on days that end in Y!

Nice catch Gass Passer! Havnt been in Lewisville in three week, lately been catching a lot of dinks, few Hybrid on live bait... .I might hit up Ray Hubbard this Sunday for some better luck....

Nice report GP!  Way to take the kiddos fishing! The look on your sons face driving the boat is pure joy. Pretty much the same look I have on my face when Im driving my boat!
