New tff member, been following a while...never signed up till now as ive been in louisiana for some time. I consider myself a tx veteran, grew up fishing fork, tawakoni, cooper, and others like Hubbard and Lewisville. So I'm familiar with the water there and let me confirm for those who wondered.... I miss the crappie fishing there so bad it aintbeven funny. So I come back and get after em when I can...
To the point..... Got an unexpected 4day wkd as of today, so I'm gona get my stuff here in louisiana handled tomorrow and make tracks toward my faithful ol hole, FORK.
ANYBODY got a pattern on em lately? Dont need your holes or coordinates unless u just wana reveal a good BP i dont already know about. I plan on concentrating on 515, and 154 bridges, if no luck there ill hit the piles south of 154 toward the dam... Expect to find em suspended around 20ft.... Is the thermocline setting in? Any fish on trees anywhere?? Which bridges have been best?? Just a general report if yall got one would help....and since ill be after em at least 2days, ill post up info as well.
Thanks in advance to you all...

18 - 24 feet on brush piles should be the ticket.

Standing timber 23' - 18' of water. Fish 13' - 15' deep. Hit a tree and move on if not biting 3 - 5 minute per tree. Keep moving. You can pick off 3-4 fish per tree this way.

Word is tip a jig with a minnow...

Good luck, stay safe and welcome to the TFF.

welcome brother ....
I think the timber rite now at fork is where I would start
I think shut up and fish has the pattern I would be using ...
and or a gulp crappie nibble ...
side note: cut them minners in halves to tip your hook ...
head half thru the lips ...
tail half in front of the kut ....
the ooze is the ticket ....
they use them lil bitty crappie nostrils ALOT ....
