I have heard a lot of talk about reels and casting performance.Maybe it's time we settle the argument by having a little casting tournament!We could charge a small entry fee and have a cash payout to the top casters.Not to worry,I will not compete but I will be there and put on a demo that will impress all who come.I might get Turbofred to come out and demo with me.You might get to see what a 200-250 yard cast looks like up close.If there is some intrest there will be rules and so forth to make it fair for all who come out.All rules will be posted in advance here on the forum.It would make for a nice gathering to meet some of your fellow TFF members!

That would be cool for those that have the need to chunk stuff that far.Dont know many folks like that though ???
Surely you can get 4-5 flag pole users from TFF to show up?

There will be classes for short and long rods as well as spinning and baitcasting!

There is casting tournaments out there. I have read Tinys stuff and he has won casting tournaments throwing over 200 yards. I have never seen it before but sure would like to see someone throw that far. If I am in the area I would come watch.

It's not contest there. I know there are ppl out there that can cast over 200 I do good just to hit 100 with no bait.
All it will take is some euro guy to show up are some one who does long range casting.
But if Catboss goes out to show how it's done.... I will be there!

It's a lot diff when you put it to a tape!
I know guy who shoot a deer at 100 yards then they say look at that 300 yard shot I just made.
Ppl cast 50 yards and then call it 100 yards.
