Since the temperature is quickly approaching the 150 degree mark I thought I would try night fishing Grapevine tonight. I've never fished at night from the boat, only from shore. Y'all got any tips? Do you keep a light on or let your eyes adjust? Do the cats go shallower at night? On a side note, I'm waiting to get a tetanus shot right now (rusty nail to the hand while tearing down a fence) so if I get stuck with an old rusty hook tonight I'm covered.

We fished all night Saturday nigh and got my best fish in about 15 FOW. Never went shallow so don't know if they up there, but they were still out in 15-20 FOW during the night.
What has happed to you does not define who you are-
HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

Just got back. Only fished about 3 hours and it was pretty slow. Fished from 10' to 30'. Caught four channels in 10'-15', no blues. The Mosquitos were pretty thick also.

I've been catching lots of channel cat lately, but having a hard time locating any blue cat.
