I don't always catch bass, but when I do, I prefer double digit bass.

Lol! Pink crankbaits on a c-rig worked for me on deep timber near hydrilla.

See RM isn't dishonest with his advice, he just isn't totally forthcoming with his info. He left out the part that I was watching him punch this deep grass with a 1oz, tungsten weight on that dropshot. It's the key details that he fails to provide. I wish the best to everyone in RHBC this weekend on Lavon.

Hear ye, hear ye! Everybody knows Lavon doesn't have hydrilla grass. Those deep grass beds are actually milfoil.

ChadMac,

Seriously, there is no grass in Lavon. The lake is 8 feet low and is a mudhole, but if you put in a little time to figure out what the fish are doing, there can be some quality fish to be caught.

Mudhole, yup!

You would think with all the zebra's we would get some grass growing! If Lavon is infested with Zebra mussels, they are the laziest mollusks ever because they are definitely NOT cleaning up that place. 2 years and still no evidence they can survive that environment. So far Lavon seems to be kicking their arzes.

There won't be many big fished weighed, if any at all.

I would say 16 pounds wins.

Yup. I'm guessing 15.5 to win. Seriously.

You can easily get 18-20 pounds right now off the brushpiles on the dam
