pond in little elm fishable?

Can you fish in the pond off woodlake and eldorado parkway? Im heading out to little elm tomorrow to visit a friend and wanted to fish for a bit before.. im strictly catch and release.. thanks and tight lines!!

If you live in my neighborhood & are paying the $330/year hoa dues to legally fish our pond, YES. Otherwise please read the signs that say "for residents only"!  The guy with the wrought iron fence next to the pond can & does ck people, & does call the law when he sees lawbreakers didn't a thread just get deleted for this kind of stuff? FYI- there's not many catchable fish left in our pond due to the poachers, you'd do better to hit the ponds up in sunset point off Walker ln.

I've fished it several times during different conditions and nothing over 2 lb's. The ponds off Walker have decent fish. 2-3 lb'ers.

I used to fish that pond 20 years before Villages of Woodlake was there. It had some huge bass in it back in the day.

I used to fish that pond 20 years before Villages of Woodlake was there. It had some huge bass in it back in the day. yep, me too. that one & the one on top of the hill, (which is now walker lane...) were right in the middle of the dove fields, so we bought a house here. both have gone downhill ever since.

I actually ended up fishing at the walker pond/creek thing.. caught a couple 1-2lb guys and one fat 5ish pounder..
