Headed to Fork in a couple of hours to try my hand at using/finding fish with my HDS-9. I'll be staying at Oak Ridge and fishing the East Fork. I've fished Fork maybe half dozen times over the years, but never on that side. Any 'community holes' that I should try? Taking my boat and I'm trying to learn something about this fishing to apply back home.

I may be cheating a little. Fishing with James Caldemeyer this afternoon and tomorrow. :-)

I'd invest in a good guide that doesnt mind sharing. If you look down a few pages there are alot of references.

The way I look at it, fishing 20' isn't deep at all...To me, it was the length of my boat..Learning 40' is tough but I have fished 50'+ in some of the Southern California lakes
