I just received the meeting location from Rafe for this Thursday at 1pm. And also stocking infos.
Email from Rafe 7/8:
"Todd, We are going to meet at the Robertson Park North boat ramp off of Dalrock. This ramp is best for stocking if the south wind gets blowing very hard. Below is how we will stock the fish.
The fish will be tempered with lake water. We will then load the fish from the truck into two large trash cans in the boat using a dip net. The two trash cans will be filled with lake water and will have oxygen flowing in the water. We will drive to open water and scoop the fish into 5 gallon buckets and release them into the water. We can usually take about 10,000 or so per trash can depending on how the fish are handling the stress.
Let me know if you have questions. Raphael Brock Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Fisheries Biologist

I believe the RH regulars refer to that ramp as the Texas Queen because there used to be a floating restaurant there by that name? I dont use that ramp because it doesnt have a courtesy dock. Anyway its on the East side of 30 and located North of Robertson Park.

It's the ramp by Bay View Marina. The Texas Queen is still at the Marina, part of Weekends Bar but it doesn't go out anymore just rocks a little with the waves.

I'll be there on the water in my boat, can't wait to see it (tell us the location). Then I'm gonna wonder around and chase their bigger cousins. Good job everybody!

Please check super duck BAC before letting him get in the water. That's one duck that might not float!

Let me email Rafe a google map or RP and he can confirm with us which ramp it is since there are about 4 ramps on Robertson Park...We will get the location straighten out before Thursday
