I'll be in TCU/fort worth for the next 2 weeks. Are there any good bank fishing spots for bass around the university? Some of the locations on the bank fishing map aren't located near any water.... must have been misplaced.

The Trinity River has bass and it's close. Just practice catch and release on those river fish.

BassGrabbers have had tournaments in that area. Might be able to check with them. They post in this forum and Facebook.

The University spot can be good. Right now the bass are probably holding a little deeper and closer to structure. Try a texas rigged craw or craw/jig combo aroudn any structure you can find. Also weightless senkos and Flukes fished slow should work. The heat/high pressure combos has them laying off the reaction baits right now unless you go early morning or late evening.

There's a little dam off 30 and University, just on the south, southeast side of 30. Ive always wondered what fish are sitting on the lower side of that dam.

Denison dam while striper fish. Had a 3"perch on a Carolina rig when I thought I snagged a rock. Then the drag started to peel off!!!

Never did get a chance to weigh her. Measured in at 58.5", released her swimming away
