My wife finishes school thursday and i want to surprise her with a simple getaway. Never been to fork but wanna tube fish in a wind protected cove or something. Anyone know of a descent place i can rent for friday and saturday night? Thanks for your help. Oh and would it be safe to tube fish in a gator lake?

Look up Lake Fork Lodge on Facebook. I believe he offers discounts to TFF members plus a lot of times he takes you fishing.

Mustang Resort is great. My wife doesn't mind it at all and plenty of fishing in big or little mustang.

How did you know that was where the picture was taken? LOL I have seen them in many other areas too, just didnt have a camera handy. This pic was taken this spring and I have seen this gator for several years now.

I recognize that gator from fishing Media this Spring. We rolled right up on it. I didn't notice it until I was damn near on top of it. It followed us down the bank for about 50 yds. Pucker factor was high! LOL!
