Never had any problems what so ever with Invizx +1 I just got back from El Salto and used 15/20# Invisix almost exclusively. One line break in 3 1/2 days and that was my fault. I had the drag set a bit too tight.

Must be the knot or the other mentioned issues.

Like what others have mentioned: if you have to pull out backlashes, make sure to pull slowly to avoid making kinks in the line; avoid loops hitting your reel; retie your line after having a few fish on the line (even count fish that throw your lure, but were hooked); avoid putting your spool of line in extreme heat or cold weather. That should save you from breaking off

I have had the same problem with invisx, went to red label and haven't had any problems except with memory.

Invizx used to be the only line I would use. Started breaking off way to many times after a couple years. Now all I use is Trilene 100% or Sunline flourocarbon. Not a problem yet.

I had the same problems a few years ago and switched to red label. Even tried a few different brands then about 6 months ago I tried it again and I'm not having any problems. They're 20# is more like 30-40 because it sometimes takes all I've got to break it. The only thing we came up with is that I used to keep my rods in the garage and the heat kills the line. Also, I only order from a dealer that I think goes threw a lot of line. Academy and those type stores will have bad spools from time to time. One more thing, I noticed when throwing something like a trap or heavy bait if you let whip during the cast it will fray that spot and break.

I respool Invizx every spring, I back spool all my reels 1/2 way and top them off with invizx. That line is tough as nails, I have used 2 year old line with 0 problems. I use reel magic with 0 problems. Several people offered up the most common causes for line breakage. Defiantly check into those. That line Rocks!

If it gets loose on the spool while you are casting, and the loops hit the frame of the reel, this will cause the line to break! I speak from experience. Never make a cast if you have a loose tag sticking out of the spool. Invisx will cut itself every time. Lucky Al speaks of experience.

Invizx has been really good to me. Tried the berkley 100% stuff and had knots break. If i start having invizx problems I'll give sunline a try.
