Leonard called and asked if I wanted to go for a boat ride. He just had a rebuild done on his motor. He is having to run double oil for a while. We ran the boat and ran around awhile.Talked him into checking a hump. Fish were there. Fished 25 or 30 minutes. We kept 26 he was out of fish at home. all fish caught on top of 20 ft. hump. All fish caught on chartuese ole ugly slabs. Fish wanted nothing to do with flies.Left fish biting but it was getting hot.

Thats one hell of a boat ride

I found the whites blowing up shad right in front of the Marina One boat ramp. Set there for about an hour, they were all small but it was a blast catching them. Left them went out to the dam caught a few and came in around 11:30 and they were still on the shad in the same cove. Have a good day.
