Anyone ever tried this? I'm hoping to fish 2 baits at once, probably super flukes or magic shads. Trying to prevent the leaders from twisting. I tied one hook about 4 inches longer than the other.

I tied this

to the main line, and attached two of these

with different leader lengths because I don't have any of these

Anyone see any problems with this set-up? Using braid for main line, 15lb Big Game for leaders.

Don't throw braid on your main line. You'll get more bites with flouro or mono.

I don't always catch bass, but when I do, I prefer double digit bass.

I have tied a bait right near my 1 ounce weight and another with a longer leader. I have never caught one on the "shorter" bait but I have a friend that swears it works. I probably only tried it for a few days so maybe I should have given it some more time.

I don't remember having any problems getting them tangled up and as long as you bury the hook I don't think you will have any more hangups than ususal.

Thanks for the info. I'm not looking to catch 2 fish, but more using 2 baits to attract them. I know this is not anew idea. Thanks for the comments.

Google "donkey rig" and try that if you want to fish two baits at once.

I think you'd be better off drop shotting with a shakey head as the weight, if u wanted to double up!

His rig would be like a C-Rigged Donkey Rig.

Report after fishing this morning. The rig did not work! I actually only gave it a few casts. I did catch 2 5's on back to back casts on a football jig.

5 minutes later, a father and 2 sons in a ski boat decided to run over one of my marker bouys, then turn around to pick it up! I asked them if they were going to steal my bouy after damaging it. He said, "you are pretty far from your bouy." I told him I can cast that far, "you want to see?"

He then turned back around and left. Needless to say the 5lb bite died. It was an honest mistake, but i don't understand why someone drives between me and the bank when there is a mile of water behind me.

Thanks for the tips.
