This morning I notices that Rios were out in full force and the bulls were patrolling with major aggression so I started to target them. This Bull was about 20 feet in front of me and he took the streamer as I was about to recast. This monster was a great fight on my 2wt.

Nice catching. Good looking Rio. What streamer pattern did you catch it on?

Just love the 2 weight for pan fish, that is a nice big fish.

While we're on the subject of Diwal Bachs, and not to hijack this thread please, here are some tutorials on tying its variations D McPhail Diwal Bach

I also use an orange Diawl Bach with white legs and tail that works great on the Rios and Bass. I don't have a tutorial but I put a pick up sometime.

Are any of these streamers weighted? Thanks.

I found out it's not a streamer. It's actually a stillwater nymph, to be used with a floating line.

I use it as a streamer and it works great. I do weight them with a piece of lead wire. If the fish was not bottom feeding I suspend it under a hopper or strike indicator so it stays in the right area of the water column.
