Headed to Texas tomorrow to fish Fayette Co lake this coming week. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We're going out Tuesday night. We went a couple weeks ago and caught most of our fish on a deep diving crank bait in 14-22 ft.

There's usually fish deep by the intake. Try all depths. You might find them schooling this time of year so keep a swim jig, casting spoon or a spook ready just in case.

Carolina Rig. Rattlesnake or centipede. Fayette fish love smaller baits.
