Well I have not been out in a couple of weeks. Work and Big reason is my wife got thrown off her horse again. This time she was just got bucked off, standing still, not running full speed. So only bruised her shoulder. I have a really nice horse for sale now.

Went out early this morning, 5:45 am we were at the ramp, motored over to Terry point. Not a lot happening, but I noticed some erratic shad every now and then surfacing in 2 fow. So I decided to wait around for a little while, about 6:15 am, they started schooling. They were surfacing from 2-15 fow, chasing shad up the ledge, blowing up the water all around us. They were schooling in 4 different locations covering about 75 yards. They continued to school from 6:15 until 8:10. We were the only boat around for an hour, then another CC showed up and fished for awhile. Towards the end boats started to gather. By 8:10 we had caught 76 whites, 2 hybrids, 3 yellow bass, and a new rod and reel. Which Lisa has claimed. Most fish were caught very shallow in 2-5 fow, on Mepps #4 plain silver,#4 plain chartreuse, and strike king red eye shad lipless crankbait color sexy shad. First fish we have seen schooling this year. Would have lasted longer, but a ski boat thought it would be cool to troll between my boat and the other cc, circle us a couple of times, then motor off. Really you have to troll between us loco jackwagon for sure.

First fish of morning as the sun is coming up.

Look what Lisa caught.

No, it was white with a blue strip, big nice ski boat fairly new, did have a trolling motor mounted in the front, but apparently they don't know how to us it.
