Fishing was pretty good today. Only fished at two spots and both held fish. Took my pastor and a 19 yr old fatherless relative and fished from 8 to 1pm. Went to the first spot cuz buddies said they "were there yesterday" and of course five boats there and very few fish. Then went to the second spot and caught good sandies. Using slabs and mepps #5. Then the boats show formed and the fish slowed down and then boats left and we caught some more. LOL! Then went back to the first spot and buddies were right after all. The fish were stacked thick! And we were the only boat there catching from noon to 1pm.

The weather has been very pleasant for July and the boat traffic is not bad either if you get off by 1pm

Nice report! We did not find them at all. NOT even a single nibble from 8:30 to 10! We ran and "trolled" all around Ray Hubbard and NOTHING, NADA, zip, ZeRo! I may need to down size my bait, match the hatch maybe?! These same guys caught fish later the same day at LL. What gives?
