I just got a HotMaps Premium for my HDS 8. Is there any trick to installing?

Insert the card, tell the unit to pull from Navionics instead of Lowracne and you will have the map data. Call me if can't figure it out, 817-319-1194.

Rob,

Got it hooked up today and didn't take the boat out, but played with it in the garage looking at maps. Everything looks good, but it will take some getting used to. The contour lines seem much closer than on the Insight maps that I have been using. I was disappointed that Lake Lewisville didn't seem to have as much detail as other lakes such as Ray Roberts. I bought the chip specifically so I would have Lewisville since there are no contours for it in the Insight maps.

Greg
