 road runner question

my dad and i always seem to have good luck with all red lures for crappie, and he really wants an all red road runner.....do they even make them? should we try and find someone to tie some for us? or should we just try and dye some white ones

Creme Lures has a Crappie Shad in red, black and chartreuse. Bobby Garland has a Baby Shad in watermelon and wine (red and chartreuse). I might try both paired with a red Roadrunner head.
Sounds like you want a hair/ feather jig in all red though. I looked around when I was at Academy and didn't see anything on the shelf that fit exactly what you were looking for. Next time I'm at Angler's Pro and Cabelas I'll check as well.

Tim has it right, if you want some custom roadrunners, contact skip_48 here on the forum... He can hook ya up. There are some other folks on TFF that can tye ya some round or chub head spinners in all red if ya like.

You could dip haired RRs in concentrated cherry koolaid or in the red glow flavored stuff they have in red and charteuce.
