My buddy pitched his 3/32oz Lime Slime (Slabmesilly Premiere Jig) into the timber. BAM! And as he set the hook, he got hung on the branch. Trying to get untangle as the fish is till on the other end. I slowly work the boat to situate and drop in a lighter jig 1/16oz of the same color combo. BAM!!!!! Set hook and pull up, and landed a nice blackie..



I unhooked his jig. He cut it off and reel in the line to save his jig. So I basically stole his fish. But talk about one hungry crappie!!! Notice how far down she inhaled the lighter jig...

More report later when I have some more time. Yet another decent day out...

Now, that is the first time I hear about two people caught the same fish at the same time. That says something about how good your jigs are, one jig was not enough for that crappie.

Just had my phone in hand so I actually took this pic of my graph. Sorry it isn't as clear as doing the correct way on a micro sd card, but you get the picture.
Found this stand alone tree... A pretty view and pleasing to any crappie hunting angler....without saying, we landed some nice slabs off of it...
14.5' at 84.8 degree water temp + when combined with being alone by its lonesome self instead clustering together with another 1000 trees = plenty of Thunder thunps!

Notice that the image shown as if many smaller fish clinching vertically all the way to the top. Those are countless bait fish, and you can see them circling at the surface

Here is another nice black crappie (caught plenty of bigger white, but no need to bore you with the usual....)


Caught fish today as shallow as 9' and as deep as 17'. End the day with 37 as it got too hot to stay out there. I only want 10 anyway, the rest went to my guest.
