Sure,We went to the north fork up at Medina Sunday and water is low.Water isn't flowing at first crossing.A little seepage is coming in but not much.Down towards Bandera on the north of town is also low but has a lot of water still. Also a lot of swimmers,we haven't done too good of fishing there. In town at Bandera park is full because of the dam.A lot of floaters and swimmers even though a lot of hooks and soft mud bottom.Went tuesday had Good perch fishing also behind the dam.Went to Castroville regional park Wednesday and really nice river. Also low but fine.We didn't do great but still caught a lot.We will go back sometime. Nice park.

I have fished there several times. Did well on Rios,Bluegill and even caught a Carp. hooked The last time I fished there was last summer 2012. hmmm Some of the banks are pretty heavy with under brush so be careful of the snakes! bolt

I have not fished the Medina yet this year. Seen some good reports several months ago.

Boltmaster, were you speaking of the Medina River off of Hwy 16 north of San Antonio in Bandera, or of the Medina River off of Hwy 16 just a few miles south of San Antonio? There is a public park where the Medina River crosses Hwy 16 south of San Antonio.

That's what I thought Boltmaster. I took my granddaughter there a few years ago. We fished a little with not much luck, but truthfully, we weren't very well-prepared. It was mostly a scouting trip. That park does have good access to the river.

Sorry about that,I forgot the river does go down that way.I haven't been down there yet.May have to go check that out too.
Castroville was very nice.Quite a few bass too for such a small river.
