I have a Terrova I-Pilot Link. I have had some occasional problems of the unit going off in the wrong direction sometimes in Spot-Lock, Autopilot and Contour following. I called Minn Kota customer service and they had me check to see if the Black and Red power lines that go down the shaft are twisted. They were not. They said the power wires need three twists in theme before they go down the shaft. This is obviously to help reduce interference. It wasn't easy but I got the wires twisted, not much length to work with there.

This tells me that they must be finding issues with interference coming in through the power lines and interrupting the Nav system. I haven't has a chance to try it out since I made the change.

Is anyone else having this kind of problem?

Also, the first think they asked about was bad connections in the battery line. I've been very careful to make sure I have good battery connections. Nothing else but the TM connected to the two batteries.

I've had mine almost 3 years and at the beginning of the summer when I started fishing again I noticed the spot lock/anchor mode wouldn't work everything else works and the battery if fully charged. I haven't done much research on the matter.
