These 100 degree days take a toll. Has nothing to do with peoples lawns, City of Dallas or the Illuminati. LOl , been retired on Fork for 17 years , first time I agreed with Cameron

This last week the heat and the wind, on top of human use had been horrible ... I live on a little 70 acre lake and I've been steadily watching the level drop.
He was this big........... No seriously !!!

There are now over three million people in the Metrocluster. They all need water. These lakes were built to provide that water. I believe that without torrential rains on a regular basis, which we have not had in years, most of them will never achieve normal pool again. And even then it would be temporary.
This is the new norm. Texas offers jobs, people will come.

Don't forget to pee in your lake before you leave. Every little bit helps. I'm doing my part.

Dallas HAS NOT been pumping. Don't know why it is being discussed.
I hear about "the city of Dallas" draining Fork at least once an hour. Just crazy how much misinformation is out and about.

well, here's my 2 cents. Alot of us homeowners are pulling water for our lawns, Bright Star is selling our water, The golf courses pulling water and then if they pump out to Dallas that leaves us in poor shape. Now, somehow, us boat owners will need to extend out as far as we can. We see the level drop daily,. I guess i should'nt whine tho, we knew when we bought over here 20 years ago that the day would come. haha. we forgot about it and now the day is here.......Our pontoon logs drag on sand getting out of slip so guess we going to put on trailer tomorrow. the pump for clean station is barely touching so we will have to move it. We had to extend foot valve for pump out again so we can water lawn... I guess we either stay here and hush or move. I think i like to whine about it. LOL

Lake Hudson, in Ok is 135 ft below full pool, I think that's something to scream about, plus makes me wonder just how deep is that darn lake?
