What are you guy's thoughts on glow plastic minnows or glow in the dark lures? I fished with TTF Glow/Chart Tail Killer Flats Minnow with a glowing 1/8 oz jighead and got a couple hits but no takes. Not sure if its the color or if the fish were being finicky.

The only times I've found all that much success with glow lures is on a lighted pier at night. Normally I start off with a clear D.O.A shrimp but when I notice that their mainly hitting minnow, I'll switch over to a glow in the dark tandem minnow rig.

Glow in the dark are great for under the lights, but they're not much different than throwing a pearl color during the day. Since you're throwing a glow plastic with glow jighead try switching jighead colors to either red or chartreuse. The added contrast could make a big impact.

The only time I've used glow minnows was on a lighted pier also. I got a few strikes but no takes. I'm going tiger some DOA shrimp soon. Heard they will catch everything. Do you mind posting a picture of your tandem rig setup? Everyone is talking about tandem rigs and I have never seen one before.

I'll have to try that. Thanks man. Appreciate it!

The glow can be good and actually great under the lights. The contrast will make a difference. I also prefer glow baits with contrasting colors, one of my favorites being glow with a red or green tail
