These rules were established to make our Bass Fishing section a little more about bass fishing and a little less about advertising.Tournaments:
We have a tournaments section located at: http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/forums/14/1/Tournament_Dates_Information
You can only post an event in the Bass Fishing section 30 days prior. Do not bump it more than once a week until the final week, then no more than once a day. Feel free to answer questions, but do not stage questions for the purpose of bumping the post.
Weekly and working man's tournaments, please only post in the Tournament Dates & Information
forum.Products and Services:
All company announcements promoting products, pro staff and services are to be made in the plugs & announcements forum at: http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/forums/51/1/plugs_announcements
All posts that read like an advertisement will be moved to plugs & announcements. Contests and Giveaways:
You may hold contests, like “name the bait,” in the Bass Fishing section. Please email email@example.com before you do with a basic outline to get approval. If you are offering product or service rewards, make sure they are delivered to the winner in a reasonable amount of time.
Do not bump contests or giveaways more than once a week, and do not have people associated with your business bump. If people are interested in the post, the members will keep it active.Videos:
We ask that you embed your videos when posting here. Use the media button to do so.
Also, use the video posting icon.
Do not post links to subscribe to your channel or write "Please Subscribe" below your embedded video. Chances are your video already has a request to subscribe at the end of it and if people like your video, they will subscribe. In other words, post your video without solicitation. Let the video speak for itself.
If you are posting a video product advertisement, demo or the like, post it in plugs & announcements.
