Got the new ducer in and installed. Only thing left to do is to check if I did it RIGHT! Wish a few hours was enough curing time for the silicone.

That's makes me feel better Ketchn. I have kicked almost everything imaginable out of my little boat. Poles, anchors, lures, etc.
I lost two $100 anchors this year and just quit taking them. They get stuck on the bottom and I can't pull them out. The mushroom kind won't stop my boat and just scoot across the bottom.
Last August, I kicked a nice ultralight Daiwa fishing pole out of my boat at Lake Murray in OK and just watched it sink into the deep clear water. I seriously considered diving after it but figure I might drown, as my pontoon boat might be a hundred yards away due to the wind when I surfaced.
I feel for these guys. I left four fishing poles at the dock after a long night fishing trip. I can't believe I did it but I did.
John 21:3 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee.

Pkfishin you may want to look into box anchors... they hold anything down and wont cost you much, especially if you have access to a welder. Check the catfish section too, some good guys over there use them a lot.
