What are conditions like at SLP? Anyone have a catch report? Thinking about going do some wade fishing and flounder gigging on the back side closest to Galveston island.

If you're wading out there, you have to be really careful with the currents. I've been out there a couple of times myself, and have heard from many people how dangerous it could be out there.

SLP is number one spot for drowning in Texas.
There were two drowned in the past Memorial Weekend.
Wearing a PFD is a must there even U are Michael Phelps.
