Looking to book a trip with either Deep Sea Headquarters, Dolphin Docks, or Fisherman's Wharf. Tell me who you think is the best and why!

I like the Scat Cat out of Fisherman's Wharf because it rides smooth, is air conditioned, has a great crew and catches fish.

To be honest I've not tried the other two and likely never will as long as Scat Cat is available.

I've always gone 12hr private trips with Deep Sea Headquarters (New Kingfisher) past couple of years now, and never had issues boat is ok but feels old and weak A/C (cabin at least). Rest of the boat was normal fish boat no problems Crew and Captain was on point the whole time and a awesome pair.

This year I couldn't get the 12hr private charter so we had to settle for a 5hr quick trip on Pelican - Boat was bleh cabin no space, crew was meh (I didnt even bother to get names they werent the normal bunch I've dealt with). Also seems there was some friends or more regulars than us on that boat as it seemed all the treatment and even bait was being corralled and hidden by them, had to wrestle (not literally) some away so we could continue to fish. Now all in all we caught fish so goal accomplished, but my opinion of DSH kinda dropped for several reasons on this trip.

Now the same day we also took a trip with Dolphin Docks a 6hr, this was my first time with this company and I'll say I was very impressed from the lady who checked us in (even gave us credit for the 2 folks who got stuck at work and couldnt make the trip) to the deck hands and captain of the Dolphin Express, and the cabin seating was great.

I think I might change my go to place from DSH to DD's just based off this one outing who knows again. I've always done 12hrs with DSH and no complaints, but the shorter quick trips with them left me with a bad taste in mouth.

I have not tried Fisherman's Warf folks yet but I think I'll have to some time as I hear good things about them as well (I've always heard good things about all operations) perhaps I just had a bad day at DSH, but DD sure did put on a great first impression with me and my crew of 25 people! They all felt the same in comparison of the 2 trips btw
