What a differance a few days make Last week sucked. Junbengreat and myself went to EM on a short scouting trip Today fish were every where. Caught a few surfacing north of the island on east bank. Had to pick through dinks.Came south of the island no surfacing there. Starting checking humps and found them on 22 ft mid lake hump caught most of our fish there.Cowtown was already on them when we got there. He let us potlick. Fish would pop the top in small groups. bro.Terry wanted to borrow a couple of sand bass rods. They went to the dam areas and he said they were surfacing. We stayed with the humps.Went to the dam and they were surfacing but would pop the top and go down. We kept a two man limit for the greese. Caught most of our fish on ole ugly slabs and flies. Jubengreat caught some surfacing on a rattletrap and I caught a few surfacing on a tail spinner I make.We caught 74. A fun day and good to finally meet you cowtown. Good to see the king bothers out fishing.

I was surprised they were stacked up on the hump today, they blacked out my graph in one spot and I couldn't even get the slab to the bottom before a hook-up. It was fun talking to Johnny and Junbengreat while we caught fish on every drop. I was embarrassed that Johnny caught me fishing something other than one of his Ole Ugly slabs. I have a box full and normally prefer to fish them. I saw a lot of doubles going into Johnny's boat.

Thanks for the report. I'm glad to see surfacing fish. Best day I've ever had on EM was almost an entire day of surfacing fish.
